Hello, I’m Amy, the founder of Fake It & Bloom.

Fake It & Bloom began with my own wedding. I designed and created my faux florals — including assembling our flower arch on the morning of the wedding while everyone else was enjoying hair and makeup. It was a little busy, wonderfully creative, and completely unforgettable. Seeing the space transformed by something I had designed sparked something in me — a deep love for creating beautiful, intentional moments through florals.

Before starting this business, I was a teacher in a small school in rural Lincolnshire. It was a career I valued deeply, but over time I felt drawn toward a more creative path. Flowers have always brought me joy — they elevate a space, shift the atmosphere, and quietly frame life’s most meaningful occasions.

Choosing to leave teaching and build Fake It & Bloom was a leap, but one rooted in passion and purpose.

Today, I balance the business alongside life with my husband and young child — energetic, full of personality, and just as captivated by flowers as I am. Building a business centred on creativity, beauty, and family is something I feel incredibly grateful for.
